Mercantile Display Case and Goods

This display case is on display at the museum and reflects the early history of many “General Stores” in the first half on the 20th century.  This case displays many of the goods for sale including candy and gum, most of which was priced at a penny or a nickel.  Thus the term “Penny Candy” was selected for the goods.
