Leonard and Velma Kargel Home
The end of an era. Leonard and Velma Kargel’s home which has been part of our community for many years. Both Leonard and Velma have passed. The family is currently sorting through many years of history on the home and its contents. The home will be for sale shortly and it is our hope that the buyer will continue the tradition and maintain the historical flavor of the home. The first picture is from the turn of the century, the second, several years ago, and the third from today.
The home housed a boarding house in the 1930”s. Mother’s Boarding House. Dr Ayers purchased the home later with Leonard and Velma Kargel residing in it until 2018.
